Bronchial Epithelial Cell Apoptosis in COPD

Bronchial Epithelial Cell Apoptosis in COPD

Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a complex and multifactorial disease characterized by an increased airway inflammation. Recent studies have suggested that there may also be a problem in the apoptosis and renewal of bronchial epithelial cells. This research activity aims to investigate the role of bronchial epithelial cell apoptosis in the pathogenesis of COPD. The study will focus on the molecular mechanisms underlying the apoptosis and renewal of bronchial epithelial cells and its impact on the development of COPD. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the pathogenesis of COPD and may lead to the development of new therapeutic strategies for the treatment of this disease.
