Abstract

The basal forebrain cholinergic system plays a crucial role in learning and memory processes. However, the impact of chlorpyrifos exposure on this system remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the effects of chlorpyrifos on the basal forebrain cholinergic system, exploring the mechanisms underlying its neurotoxic effects. The results of this study will provide valuable insights into the potential risks associated with chlorpyrifos exposure and inform the development of strategies to mitigate its adverse effects on learning and memory.
