Abstract

Le choix de la Societe de Developpement International (SDID), comme projet d'intervention, me fut dicte par l'interet que j'ai toujours porte au developpement international. Ce choix m'a semble d'autant plus justifie que la SDID est une petite entreprise qui s'est donnee pour mission de s'associer au developpement d'entreprises cooperatives dans le Tiers-Monde. Comme PME, elle est, el1e-meme, aux prises avec la problematique du developpement de la petite et moyenne organisation, objet du programme de maitrise dont ce memoire en est 1'aboutissement. Je tiens a remercier, en tout premier lieu, M. Michel Doray, directeur general de la SDID qui a permis et facilite grandement le travail de recherche, ainsi que M. Michel Lagace, directeur administratif et financier, pour son appui et la mise a ma disposition des informations dont j'avais besoin. Ces remerciements s'adressent tout autant aux autres membres du personnel de la SDID qui ont collabore a cette etude. Je tiens de plus a souligner la collaboration de M. Pierre Gobeil, a la realisation de la premiere partie de l'etude dans le cadre du seminaire "Problemes de PMO", ainsi que l'excellent travail de Mme Rita Lajoie et Mlle Lise Leblond, pour le support qu'elles ont apporte a l'entreprise et la patience qu'elles ont demontree pour les nombreuses reprises que ce genre de travaux entraine. En terminant, qu'il me soit aussi permis d'exprimer ma gratitude envers les membres du Comite de lecture, MM. Paul Prevost, Adam Lapointe et Guy Trudeau, pour leurs encouragements et judicieux conseils.
