Abstract
Recombinant haemoglobin [rHb(βK120C)] was coupled with two human serum albumins (HSAs), yielding a rHb(βK120C)–HSA2heterotrimer, which shows a sigmoidal O2equilibrium curve and sufficient Hb allostery identical to those of native Hb.
