Abstract
A coleção ictiológica do Museu de Ciências Naturais da Universidade do Vale do Taquari - Univates é composta por espécies nativas da Bacia hidrográfica Taquari-Antas, região central do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Atualmente a coleção é constituída por mais de 13 mil espécimes, distribuídos em 23 famílias, 49 gêneros e 65 espécies.
