Assessing gene expression in liver and WAT
Abstract
Copyright information:Taken from "Mobilization of pro-inflammatory lipids in obese Plscr3-deficient mice"http://genomebiology.com/2007/8/3/R38Genome Biology 2007;8(3):R38-R38.Published online 13 Mar 2007PMCID:PMC1868938. A subset of genes under the transcriptional regulation of Srebp-1c were examined by real-time RT-PCR and, in WAT, were more significantly and strongly up-regulated in the absence of Plscr3. As the goal was to address genotype differences and not individual animal variation, total RNA from three animals/genotype was pooled and technical triplicates were run. *< 0.01, **< 0.001.
