Biodiversity and community assemblage of shallow habitats of the National Park of Banc d'Arguin (Mauritania): influence of habitat, season and site
Abstract
The biodiversity and community assemblages of seagrass and sand habitats located in shallow water habitats of the Banc d’Arguin were sampled with a beach seine at 3 sites, during two sampling missions in December and April. The objectives were to test if the community assemblages in term of abundance, species diversity and assemblage structure were different between habitats, as well as the effect of the season and the site.
