A collation of records submitted to Fife Nature Records Centre from a variety of sources. Note that this dataset currently includes only a proportion of Fife Nature's data holdings and records have been reduced in resolution. Please contact Fife Nature directly to access higher resolution data and the most comprehensive and up-to-date data holdings. A collation of records submitted to Fife Nature Records Centre from a variety of sources, including the general public, professionals and other experts, where permission has been granted to upload data to the NBN Atlas and where records are not known to duplicate existing NBN Atlas data. Note that this dataset currently includes only a proportion of Fife Nature's data holdings and records have been reduced to 2km resolution (unless recorded at lower resolution than this). Validation and verification on the dataset is ongoing; a proportion have been assessed by experts or through use of the NBN Record Cleaner. Records that have been through these processes and were flagged as unlikely or incorrect have been excluded. Please note that HumanObservation is used as a default term in a required field and it may not accurately reflect the nature of a record.
