Abstract

Original provider: NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) Dataset credits: NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) Purpose: CalCurCEAS = California Current Cetacean and Ecosystem Assessment Survey. Objective: estimate population size and describe distributions for cetaceans in the California Current. Vessel: Ocean Starr (chartered vessel, formerly the NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan). Study area: waters off contiguous U.S. West Coast Supplemental information: SWFSC MMTD Cruise Number: 1647 Perpendicular distance will be released upon permission by the contributor.
