Contribution to the taxonomy of Mexican Tersilochinae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae), with descriptions of five new species
Five new species of Tersilochinae (Ichneumonidae) are described from Mexico:Meggoleus hidalgoensissp. nov.,M. whartoniKhalaim,sp. nov.,Phradis beloviKhalaim,sp. nov.,Stethantyx covidasp. nov., andSt. oaxacanasp. nov.Meggoleus whartoniKhalaim,sp. nov.is also recorded from Panama, andSt. covidasp. nov.from Guatemala. The species recently described from MexicoProbles contrerasiKhalaim & Ruíz-Cancino is transferred to the genusGelanesHorstmann,comb. nov.A partial key to the species ofMeggoleuswith small propodeal spiracles and a key to Mexican species ofPhradisare provided.
