Abstract

Die steigende Heterogenität der Schülerinnen und Schüler an den Regelschulen belastet die Lehrpersonen zunehmend. Das “Universal Design for Learning” (UDL) könnte hierfür eine Entlastung bieten, da seine Anwendung einen barrierefreien, nutzbaren und inklusiven Unterricht verspricht. Am Beispiel des Zürcher Mathematiklehrmittels “Mathematik Primarstufe 2” (ZML2) versucht die vorliegende Arbeit herauszufinden, wie stark das ZLM2 das Konzept des UDL berücksichtigt und ob eine Ergänzung diesbezüglich sinnhaft ist. Die im Verlauf der Arbeit erstellte Lehrmittelergänzung wurde mit zwei Schulklassen erprobt und anschliessend mittels Fragebogen ausgewertet. Die Resultate haben gezeigt, dass das ZML2 die Prinzipien des UDL nur teilweise berücksichtigt. Die Lehrmittelergänzung führte zwar zu einer signifikanten Verbesserung des Mathematikunterrichts bezüglich des UDL, jedoch wurden auch damit nicht alle UDLPrinzipien ausreichend erfüllt. Um dies zu erreichen, müssen weitere Forschungen und Testläufe durchgeführt werden.
