Abstract
A coleção é formada, basicamente, por plantas coletadas no Brasil, principalmente em cerrados e matas das Regiões Sudeste, Sul e Centro-Oeste, bem como provenientes de projetos de florística e fitossociologia. Seu acervo, é o terceiro maior do estado para Fanerógamas, e está voltado principalmente para a Flora do Estado de São Paulo.
