Abstract
A Coleção Entomológica do Setor Palotina (CESP/UFPR) está localizada em um Campus avançado da Universidade Federal do Paraná, na região oeste do Estado. Assim como o Setor Palotina, no qual está inserida, a CESP é uma coleção jovem que iniciou no ano de 2010. Contudo, a coleção já conta com mais de 26 mil exemplares de insetos secos montados e acondicionados, que representam a biodiversidade de todos os biomas do Brasil, quase todos os estados brasileiros e de mais de 10 países.
