Abstract

El objetivo principal de este estudio fue recopilar información sobre la diversidad de vertebrados terrestres, incluyendo aves, herpetofauna y mamíferos del Parque Nacional Natural Bahía Málaga, una región que alberga una alta biodiversidad, especies endémicas poco conocidas y falta de información sobre su historia natural. Durante la expedición, se utilizaron diversos métodos de avistamiento y captura en el campo, involucrando tres grupos de tres personas para cada grupo biológico. La identificación de especies se basó en análisis morfológicos de los individuos capturados, complementados con información de sonidos y técnicas moleculares como el Barcoding. Los resultados obtenidos entre noviembre y diciembre de 2021 proporcionaron una lista inicial de 396 registros con 82 especies de aves, anfibios, reptiles y mamíferos pequeños voladores presentes en el Parque Nacional Natural Bahía Málaga.
