Abstract
Coleção iniciada em 1951, a partir de coleções de Pe. Eugenio Leite na Serra do Baturité, Ceará, como apoio às aulas do Colegio Anchieta, em Nova Friburgo. Reúne aproximadamente 6.000 espécimens, em sua grande maioria da região serrana de Nova Friburgo, incluindo áreas urbanas, onde se destacam as espécies de samambaias e licófitas, constituindo importante fonte de representação da flora deste município nas décadas de 50 e 60. Assim como em sua constituição, o acervo tem sido acrescido por amostras provenientes de áreas naturais urbanas, agora na cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
