Herbarium of Lars Levi Laestadius
Abstract
Lars Levi Laestadius (1800-1861) was a Swedish Lutheral pastor and a botanist who collected thousands of herbarium specimens during his botanical excursions to Sweden and Norway. This collection contains information about plant specimens housed in the herbarium of L.L. Laestadius in Jyvaskyla University Museum. Most of the specimens in this herbarium have been collected by Laestadius himself, some acquired from other botanists by exchange or donation.
