An updated key to the eleven species known from India and Sri Lanka, including the new species described in this paper, is provided. A distributional map of Taeniogonalos species reported from India is given. Taeniogonalos pictipennis Strand, 1914 reported from China and Taiwan is found to be a valid species (stat. rev.).
