LUSC - Herbário de Lages da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina
Abstract
O Herbário Lages da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (LUSC) foi fundado em 2006 e oficializado institucionalmente em 2011. Atualmente possui cerca de 6.100 espécimes e encontra-se cadastrado no Index Herbariorum sob o acrônimo LUSC. A coleção possui cerca de 80% dos exemplares da Região Sul do Brasil, principalmente do estado de Santa Catarina, todos pertencentes ao bioma Mata Atlântica. Os espécimes registrados na coleção são oriundos de levantamentos florísticos em áreas úmidas (banhados) e em áreas de Floresta Ombrófila Mista, com ocorrência no Planalto Catarinense e tem como objetivo contribuir com o conhecimento da Flora Catarinense.
