Abstract

The invertebrate collection of the Museo de Zoología, Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (MUTPL-CISEC) consist of approximately 10,000 specimens (by the end of 2022) of mostly insects and spiders. The majority of the specimens are from Azuay, El Oro, Loja, and Zamora Chinchipe provinces, Southern Ecuador. La colección de invertebrados del Museo de Zoología, Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (MUTPL-CISEC) consta de aproximadamente 10,000 especímenes (para fines de 2022) de insectos y arañas en su mayoría. La mayoría de los especímenes son de las provincias de Azuay, El Oro, Loja y Zamora Chinchipe, sur de Ecuador.
