Abstract

El propósito de este proyecto es obtener las secuencias del Citocromo c subunidad 1 oxidasa (COI) para ocho complejos de especies de aves mexicanas, incluyendo diferentes poblaciones de dichos complejos, para, de ser posible, distinguir diferentes linajes (especies) en las poblaciones. Los complejos de especies de aves de las que obtendremos las secuencias del Citocromo c subunidad 1 oxidasa (COI) son: Cynanthus latirostrissordidus, Lampornis amethystinus, Aulacorhynchus prasinus, Melanerpes formicivorus, Campylorhynchus rufinucha, Chlorospingus ophthalmicus, Buarremon brunneinuchavirenticeps, Icterus pustulatus, todos ellos tienen una distribución amplia dentro de nuestro país y en la mayoría de ellos se ha documentado que existe variación genética considerable, por lo que proponemos obtener secuencias de diferentes poblaciones. Se plantea obtener un total de 249 secuencias del Citocromo c, de los diferentes complejos de especies de aves que vamos a estudiarReino: 1 Filo: 1 Clase: 1 Orden: 3 Familia: 4 Género: 8 Especie: 13
