Global diversity and distributions of symbiotic copepod crustaceans living on octocorallians

Abstract

The dataset was organized following the Darwin Core Standard (Wieczorek et al., 2012). Each row within the dataset represents a record of a copepod taxon obtained from various samples, as documented in the literature. The columns within the dataset encompass both the original and revised taxon names, supplementary taxonomic details, as well as data regarding the geographical location, environmental parameters, and the source of the data.
