Abstract

Estructura de la comunidad microbiana de manantiales termales del Departamento de Boyacá. Este estudio se realizó en 5 manantiales termales y un manantial salino de Boyacá. Las comunidades microbianas de los manantiales están conformadas principalmente por poblaciones termofílicas de organismos sulfato-reductores, tiosulfato-reductores no sulfato-reductores, organismos reductores de hierro férrico, organismos reductores de nitratos y principalmente organismos fermentativos.

Composición de la comunidad microbiana de manantiales termales del Departamento de Risaralda. Se concentró en el estudio de la diversidad microbiana de manantiales salinos y termales del departamento de Risaralda. Los estudios en esta segunda fase se orientaron hacia la clasificación taxonómica de microorganismos, utilizando como marcador molecular el gen 16S rRNA, con el fin de identificar los microorganismos presentes en manantiales salinos y termales.
