Abstract

Contiene los datos resultantes del seguimiento de las aves comunes que se realiza en diferentes localizaciones de las Islas Baleares en dos ?pocas del a?o con el objetivo de obtener informaci?n sobre las tendencias de las poblaciones de aves comunes y a partir de ?stas, generar indicadores ambientales. La metodolog?a de campo consiste en identificar y contar todas las aves que se detectan a lo largo de un recorrido de 3 km que se recorre dos veces durante la temporada de nidificaci?n y dos durante la de invernada. El primer censo de primavera se lleva a cabo en el per?odo comprendido entre el 15 de abril y el 15 de mayo, coincidiendo con el per?odo de m?xima actividad de reproductores sedentarios y migradores presaharianos, y el segundo entre el 15 de mayo y el 15 de junio, coincidiendo con el per?odo de m?xima actividad de reproductores transsaharianos. El primer censo de invierno se realiza durante el mes de diciembre y el segundo durante enero con el fin de minimizar los efectos del gregarismo y la falta de fidelidad territorial que muestran muchas especies durante esta estaci?n. Entre la primera y la segunda visita de la temporada deben transcurrir 15 d?as.
