Sperm morphology of 264 songbird species
Abstract
Sperm morphology for 125 Afrotropical and 139 Northern temperate species of songbirds, utilized in comparative analyses in the paper “Sperm size variation among Afrotropical songbirds as adaptations to the tropical environment” by Omotoriogun et al., 2020. The value in otherCatalogNumbers is an ID number for an internal Sperm Morhology Database and can be used to retrieve the original measurements. Note that in order to download the measurements themselves the source archive must be downloaded from the IPT https://ipt.gbif.no/archive.do?r=sperm-morphology-songbirds.
