Abstract
A coleção do Herbário UFMT compreende exemplares de algas, fungos, liquens (em menor quantidade), briófitas, pteridófitas, gimnospermas e mais acentuadamente de angiospermas. No momento o acervo total consta de 41.151 exsicatas computando todos os grupos acima ciatados. É de relevância para o conhecimento da biodivesidade dos biomas de Mato Grosso.
