Abstract

Los datos se derivan de la línea de investigación del SIMAC: Sistema de monitoreo para los ambientes arrecifales en Colombia y evaluación de agentes de mortalidad coralina; dentro del programa de Biodiversidad y Ecosistemas Marinos. El proyecto busca generar información sobre la salud y la dinámica de los arrecifes coralinos en Colombia, mediante la evaluación de su estado, para contribuir a su entendimiento y a su conservación, así como al uso sostenible de sus recursos. En este conjunto de datos se reportan los peces arrecifales de importancia comercial y/o ecológica, documentados en estaciones de monitoreo del Mar Caribe y Océano Pacífico colombiano, que corresponden a 42.927 registros biológicos obtenidos entre el año 1998 y 2019.
