Abstract

Las muestras colectadas corresponden a palmas de la especie E. oleifera encontradas en distintos municipios de los departamentos de Antioquia, Boyacá, Caldas, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Guajira, Magdalena, Santander y Sucre. En cada sitio se colectaron racimos y folíolos de máximo 10 palmas. Sin embargo, la colecta de racimos por palma se hizo solo sí había disponibilidad de estos. Los frutos de los racimos son usados para hacer perfiles de ácidos grasos y para la germinación de semillas con el fin de tener plantas conservadas ex situ. Por otra parte, se tomaron 6 folíolos del tercio medio de la hoja número uno de cada una de las palmas identificada por sitio, con el fin de realizar una posterior extracción del ADN.
