Abstract

This dataset is one of the main digitization products of National Taiwan Museum (Taipei, Taiwan) biological collection specimen, which include fish specimen from Johnson T.F. Chen (陳兼善), snack specimen from Ming-Chung Tu (杜銘章), bird specimen from Wild Bird Society of Taipei (臺北市野鳥學會), shellfish specimen from Yasuichi Horikawa (堀川安市) and Kin-Yang Lai (賴景陽), crustacean specimen from Chia-Hsiang Wang (王嘉祥), algae specimen from and Young-Meng Chiang (江永棉) and Su-fang Huang (黃淑芳), bryophyte and lichen specimen from Ming-Jou Lai (賴明洲 ), Chung-K'uei Wang (王忠魁), and Shan-Hsiung Lin (林善雄), and some specimen of extinct or regional extinct species such as Neofelis nebulosa brachyura Swinhoe, 1862 and Cyrenodonax formosana Dall, 1903.
