Abstract
Contiene 2860 registros de la colección de aves del Museo Florentino Ameghino, Santa Fe, Argentina. Actualmente la colección se encuentra compuesta por 2487 especímenes (pieles y elementos taxidermizados), de los cuales 1891 poseen localidad precisa de procedencia, que abarca principalmente la provincia de Santa Fe y de otras 16 provincias Argentinas, como así también, en menor medida, de ejemplares de otros países (Alemania, Australia, Brasil, Uruguay y Venezuela). En el conjunto de datos se encuentran representadas 510 especies de aves, de 82 familias y 27 órdenes. 18 ejemplares aun se encuentran sin determinar a nivel de especie.
