Abstract

El presente inventario de anfibios y reptiles tiene como propósito satisfacer la necesidad de información del departamento de Córdoba en cuanto a la diversidad biológica de estos grupos faunísticos, buscando propender a la conservación y el uso sostenible de sus recursos biológicos. Para lo cual se realizó revisión de información secundaria procedente de los instrumentos de planificación de la Corporación Autónoma Regional de los valles del Sinú y del San Jorge- CVS. Por otro lado se generó información cartográfica sobre los grupos de anfibios y reptiles encontrados en el departamento de Córdoba en formatos shape file, usando el software ArcGis versión 10.2. Se encontraron 28 especies de la clase Amphibia y 47 especies de clase Reptilia. Se registró mayor número de especies en el Municipio de Lorica y Pueblo Nuevo, a diferencia de la ciénaga de Ayapel que presento el menor número de especies, debido a la alta intervención antrópica.
