VIES herbarium - Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo - Herbário Virtual REFLORA
The VIES Herbarium of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), its coverage area, type specimens, and contributions to the Atlantic Forest flora are presented here. The VIES herbarium holds records of vascular plants, fungi, bryophytes, and algae, mainly collected in the state of Espírito Santo. The entire collection is computerized and available online. Among the cataloged specimens, there are nomenclatural types. VIES supports various projectsdeveloped by students and researchers from UFES and other institutions, as well as exchanging specimens with numerous herbaria. #-------------------- O Herbário VIES da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES), sua área de abrangência, espécimes-tipo e contribuições para a flora da Mata Atlântica são apresentados aqui. O herbário VIES possui registros de plantas vasculares, além de fungos, briófitas e algas, coletados principalmente no estado do Espírito Santo. Toda a coleção está informatizada e disponível online. Entre os espécimes catalogados, há tipos nomenclaturais. O VIES oferece suporte a diversos projetos desenvolvidos por estudantes e pesquisadores da UFES e de outras instituições, além de realizar intercâmbio de material com inúmeros herbários.
