Collection of occurrence data on animal species in the Biosphere Reserve of Pendjari in 2001, 2004, and 2013.
Abstract
Data on mammal species were collected during wildlife census on foot during monitoring linear transects. All the animal observation geographical points were recorded using GPS by fauna guards and ecological staff. These data were directly registered on paper sheets on field and controlled by team leaders. A total number of 1925 occurrence data on animal species were collected during the annual census in 2001, 2004 and 2013 in the Biosphere Reserve of Pendjari
