Abstract

Le Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle de Besançon situé dans la citadelle conserve l’herbier de l’ancien institut de botanique et de l’université de Franche Comté. Cette collection (début XIX siècle) représente un volume d’un demi-million de parts. Environ 250 000 parts constituent le fond scientifiquement et historiquement exploitable. Sur plus de cinquante herbiers plus de la moitié est remarquable. - Charles-Louis Contejean (réalisation 1840-1890) France notamment Franche-Comté et Poitou-Charentes, Russie, nombreux legs de spécimens d’Algérie, Méditerranée, etc.11 000 parts estimées. Un des plus beaux herbiers de Franche-Comté. - Antonin Tronchet (réalisation 1950) France, notamment Franche-Comté. 2250 parts estimées. Professeur à l’Université de Besançon, où il enseigne la botanique et réalise une féconde carrière de recherche sur les mouvements révolutif des tiges et des vrilles (nous possédons 41 films mais certainement pas tous exploitables). - Gustaf Tisselius (réalisation 1895-1897) Europe du Nord (Suède, Allemagne). 150 parts. Botaniste Suédois. La collection est constituée de trois volumes reliès contenus dans des boîtes intitulés ‘Potamogetones Suecici Exsiccati’
