Phengaris

Abstract

This dataset is the databased part of Phengaris (ex Maculinea) from the entomological collections of the Musée des Confluences (Lyon). It comprises 1439 specimens belonging to 23 collections (Claude Dufay, André Primot, Jacques Baraud, Alain Crosson du Cormier, François Moulignier, René Martin, Georges Brunier, Pierre Réal, Etienne Berjot, Emile Roman etc.). Many Phengaris are threatened in Europe; in France, a National Action Plan have been implemented in 2018. This dataset had been prepared in this context, a part of the material had been revised par Yann Baillet (Flavia) in 2011.
