Abstract

Se presentan la información de 3.828 registros depositados en la Colección de Mamíferos del Museo de Historia Natural de la Universidad de Caldas, que a la fecha se constituye en la más completa del Eje Cafetero. La mayoría de los registros (n=2.212) proceden del departamento de Caldas, sin embargo, se cuenta con registros para 23 departamentos más. Los órdenes más representativos son Chiroptera (n=2.454) y Rodentia (n=747). En total, se incluyen registros de 238 especies nativas y 8 exóticas, pertenecientes a 12 órdenes, 42 familias (39 nativas) y 134 géneros (127 nativos).
