Algunas especies de anfibios y reptiles contenidos en el Proyecto de Norma Oficial Mexicana PROY-NOM-059-ECOL-2000

Abstract

Se recopilaran e integrarán las fichas de 22 especies de anfibios y reptiles del PROY-NOM-059-ECOL-2000, evaluándose el riesgo de extinción de las mismas. De ellos 12 son Ambystomatidos del género Ambystoma. Se obtendrán también fichas de las tres especies de cocodrilos y caimanes de México. Adicionalmente se trabajará sobre cuatro especies endémicas de salamandras Plethodóntidas, dos (Chiropterotriton) del estado de Hidalgo y dos (Pseudoeurycea) del estado de México. Se incluirá también una rana Hylida (Hyla) del estado de Hidalgo. Otro reptil a incluir es Heloderma horridum de los estados del Pacífico de México. La información se obtendrá de la literatura científica, de registros de museos de Estados Unidos y México, de datos aún no publicados y de la experiencia personal del responsable y colaboradores.
