FNJV - Fonoteca Neotropical Jacques Vielliard
A Fonoteca Neotropical Jacques Vielliard (FNJV), associada ao Museu de Zoologia "Adão José Cardoso" da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), fundada em 1978, é uma das cinco maiores Fonotecas do mundo e a maior da América Latina. Conta com arquivos sons de todos os grupos de vertebrados e alguns grupos de invertebrados (como insetos e aracnídeos). A coleção possui mais de 44 mil gravações catalogadas, e ainda outras milhares (cerca de 20 mil) que estão em processo de digitalização e tombamento. A maior parte da coleção é proveniente do Brasil, mas também contém exemplares da América do Norte, Europa, África e Oceania. It has sound files of all vertebrate groups and some invertebrates (such as insects and arachnids). This collection has more than 44,000 recordings cataloged and other thousands (about 20,000) that still are in the process of digitization and cataloging.
