Abstract

O Herbário Nacional de Moçambique (LMA), estabelecido em 1967, abriga a maior colecção de referência do país de espécimes de plantas secas e prensadas, actualmente compreendendo mais de 70.000 exsicatas, com foco na diversidade de plantas selvagens de Moçambique. LMA é uma fonte de referência importante tanto para a Flora Zambesiaca.
