Mamíferos y aves medianos y grandes de los Montes de María - Programa Riqueza Natural (USAID)

Abstract

Caracterización de mamíferos y aves, de tamaño mediano y grande. Registros obtenidos a partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas a comunidades rurales de los Montes de María. En este conjunto de datos se relacionan 30 especies de aves y mamíferos grandes y medianos que utilizan coberturas como el bosque seco tropical, cultivos permanentes, y cultivos transitorios. En Mammalia se identificaron 19 familias y 25 especies. En Aves se identificaron cuatro familias y cinco especies. Las entrevistas se realizaron del 12 de mayo al 30 de septiembre del 2018, en distintos corregimientos y veredas de los municipios San Juan Nepomuceno, El Carmen de Bolívar, San Jacinto en el departamento de Bolívar; y en Chalán y Colosó en el departamento de Sucre. Este producto se realiza en el marco del Convenio AID-514-H-17-001 entre el Instituto de Investigación de Recursos Biológicos Alexander von Humboldt y Chemonics International Inc. Sucursal Colombia. Programa Riqueza Natural (USAID).
