Abstract

O Herbário UFP, fundado e indexado em 1968, foi credenciado em 2003, na qualidade de "Fiel Depositário", pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente, apresentando, atualmente, 75203 amostras tombadas, principalmente do Nordeste do Brasil e do Estado de Pernambuco. Possui importantes coleções, sobremaneira dos ecossistemas caatinga e floresta atlântica, além de 53 typus, sendo 9 Criptogâmicos e 44 Fanerogâmicos, assim discriminados: Bromeliaceae (24): Aechmea atrovittata, A. cephaloides, A. exsudans, A. guainumbiorum, A. gustavoi, A. muricata, A. nudicaulis, A. pernambucentris, A. serragrandensis; Canistrum alagoanum, C. conífera, C. improcerum; Cryptanthus felixii, C. reptans; Dyckia limae; Hohenbergia itamarajuensis; Neoregelia pernambucana; Orthophytum atalaiense, O. triunfense; Pseudananas sagenarius; Tillandsia catimbauensis; Vriesea freicanecana, V. vellozicola, V. zonata. Cyperaceae (06): Hypolytrum amorimii, H. bahiense, H. espiritosantense, H. lucennoi; Koellensteinia spiralis; Rhynchospora dominguensi. Euphorbiaceae (01): Gymnanthes boticario. Gesneriaceae (01): Sinningia nordestina. Clusiaceae/Guttiferae (10): Clusia aemygdioi, C. dardanoi, C. intermédia, C. marizii, C. obdeltifolia, C. paralicola, C. pernambucensis; Tovomita excelsa, T. mangle; Vismia reichardtiana. Fabaceae/Leguminosae (01): Chamaecrista anamariae. Liliaceae (01): Nothoscordum pernambucanum. Maranthaceae (03): Maranta andersoniana, M. hatsbachiana, M. protracta.
