Biodiversitätsdatenbank Salzburg
Abstract
The Haus der Natur maintains a biodiversity database documenting the animal and plant species of Salzburg and adjacent areas (mainly). The database is growing continuousely and includes detailed information about the distribution of many groups of animals, fungi and plants. Special attention is given to the endangered species, threatened habitats, and protected areas of Salzburg. The database further contains global distribution data, mainly related to the museum's biological collection. All coordinates for gbif are rounded to two decimal places (approx. 1 km).
