Abstract

A través de la ejecución del proyecto de investigación titulado: "Estudio de cargas polínicas colectadas por abejas y monitoreo poblacional de aves asociadas a dos sistemas de producción cafetera, Popayán", Convocatoria: 04A-2015 / PROYECTOS CONJUNTOS UEES - MODALIDAD I+D, y Convenio ID: 4442 suscrito entre la Universidad del Cauca e Innovacción Cauca, se evaluaron las diferentes poblaciones de aves asociadas a sistemas productivos cafeteros del municipio de Popayán (Cauca). Por medio de los métodos de muestreo de captura de aves utilizando redes de niebla y anillamiento de individuos, se evaluó la riqueza y abundancia relativa de la avifauna asociada a seis unidades de estudio, representadas por tres fincas cafeteras de policultivo diversificado y tres fincas cafeteras de monocultivo a libre exposición. Se realizaron siete salidas de campo (muestreos), entre abril de 2017 y abril de 2018. En total, se capturaron 458 individuos de 69 especies de aves (61 especies de aves residentes y ocho migratorias boreales). Los individuos capturados fueron anillados, fotografiados y posteriormente liberados. No se realizaron colectas.
