Ejemplares de árboles del bosque seco tropical de Colombia que cuentan con muestra de semillas

Abstract

El presente proyecto se desarrolló para dar continuidad al fortalecimiento de la colección de semillas establecida en el Instituto Alexander von Humboldt a inicios del 2018. Se realizaron muestreos en diferentes zonas de la región Andina y la región Caribe. La primera parte del proyecto se desarrolló desde octubre del 2018 hasta junio del 2019, durante este periodo se realizaron 6 salidas de campo y se recolectaron 129 ejemplares de herbario. La segunda parte del proyectó se llevó a cabo en el segundo semestre del 2019, durante este periodo se realizaron 3 salidas de campo y se recolectaron 49 ejemplares de herbario de este importante ecosistema, del cual sólo queda un 8% de su cobertura original a nivel nacional. En total se tienen 177 muestras, las cuales ya se encuentran procesadas y almacenadas en el herbario Federico Medem Bogotá.
