Abstract

Este recurso provee información sobre 58 especies de la Colección Nacional de Heliconias del Jardín Botánico del Quindío. Esta colección se ha realizado gracias al apoyo del profesor Gustavo Morales en cuanto al suministro de ejemplares y curaduría de los mismos. La colección acoge actualmente el 45% de las 115 especies que se estiman para Colombia, y su objetivo es conseguir un 100% de representatividad de esta familia.
