Abstract
The aim of my bachelor thesis was to test the construct for micro-RNA interference ShmiR2, targeted against drosophila only adenosine receptor AdoR. Drosophila adoR mutants were proved to be viable and when combined with adenosine deaminase mutation adgf-a, the adoR mutation fully rescued the adgf-a lethality. Previous results also suggest the possibility of tissue specific action of adenosine signalling, therefore our goal was to further examine this phenomenon by tissue specific knockdown of AdoR and analyzing it´s effect on viability of the flies.
