Despite the Netherlands leadership, the 2024 Dutch Circularity Gap Report stresses the need to strengthen human capital to address socio-spatial challenges. The NextGenCircular project integrates professional-to-student and challenge-based learning, enabling Spatial Planning and Design students to apply circularity concepts in practice. Students gain actionable insights, build competitive portfolios, and position themselves as future leaders, bridging the circularity gap while advancing the green labor market and sustainable spatial development.
