Description

Artificial intelligence (AI) may be the most disruptive technology developed to date. Currently, one of the major challenges is to realize its full potential in real-world applications in science, health care and industry. In this project, researchers try to use AI for an important and difficult imaging task encountered in many areas: Improving image-based decision-making by reconstructing and analysing the image simultaneously instead of sequentially. Besides developing novel AI approaches and computational algorithms, they want to identify the most common problems of applying AI to such tasks and understand how to overcome them.
