<< Objectives >>The aim of the project, “New magazine: Science and stories for kids”, is to develop the skills and key competences of our students involving our pupils in interdisciplinary activities that, through stories for kids and science, understand the real world and be conscious of the need for sustainability. All these being able to work together, exchange knowledge and activities with other European schools, use online communities and ICT tools.<< Implementation >>The common threat of the activities are the stories for children in concrete “The three little pigs” and “Charlie and the chocolate factory”. The activities we propose always have the same outline, first we work the comprehension of the fairy tale, then we make science questions about it and then we look for the solution of the questions among an experiment, observation or research. The great majority of them are done cooperatively and in international groups, so we use ICT tools.<< Results >>Students will create the magazine “Science in stories for kids” which is going to compile all the work done and also a web of the project. Other results will be models of sustainable houses, video games and films about “Charlie and the chocolate factory”, an audio story about “The three little pigs'' in English and also the mother language of the participant countries and exhibitions in the schools.
