<< Objectives >>The project S.O.S.: Social Opportunities of Sustainability aims at exchanging good practices among 4 different EU organisations in order to create local forward-looking learning centres finalised at enhancing social inclusion of fragile adults – people in detention, people in addiction, women with migratory backgrounds and subjects in disadvantaged economic conditions - through their participation in processes of community education on sustainability and on preservation of the environment.<< Implementation >>The main activities will be: the implementation of a virtual peer learning collaborative space to collect good practices, n. 3 transnational workshops – in Tenerife, in Ireland and in Italy – focusing on three different aspects of sustainable development, namely sustainable tourism, mobility and eating; Pilot local learning activities aimed at the enhancement of users’ key and green skills; Community development through the construction of Local Learning Open Spaces.<< Results >>The main results will be: toolbox published in a web collaborative space, training materials in each partner’s language and mini-tutorials on sustainable practices in the field of tourism, mobility and eating ; Local Learning Open Spaces for sustainable cities and communities established in each country. Learning outcomes: green skills by the three target groups; increased competences in the field of social inclusion; improvement of digital and linguistic competences.
