Develop your creativity.

Description

"The main objective of the ""Develop your creativity"" project is to improve social inclusion in adult education in the field of creativity by increasing educators' competences to reach adults, motivate them to start and continue their education and counseling support to introduce them to the path of lifelong learning .The project involves 4 organizations from different parts of Europe: from Poland - the Association ""Creative for Business"" and the Foundation for Education for Development and Innovation), from Bulgaria - Global Organization For Development /G.O.D./), from Ireland - Edu Smart Traning Center Limited. The project builds its activities based on stimulating creativity through broadly understood culture and art. Building creativity in non-formal education of adults is associated with a number of barriers, in order to prevent them, educators should be provided with appropriate tools and materials for work. One of the ways is culture, which can be presented in various forms and versions: theater, image, music and others. Cultural and creative skills give adults competences such as creativity, inventiveness, problem solving, cooperation. The project complies with the implementation of the horizontal priority - supporting creativity and cultural awareness. The project is inspired by European observations, documents and research on adult education. There is a clear need to increase social inclusion through education across Europe, as empowering adults to acquire skills and competences is a precondition for self-fulfillment, health, employability and social inclusion, helping to strengthen Europe's resilience in a time of rapid and profound change. The partners (Poles and Bulgaria) diagnosed that there is a lack of experience in the field of professional education of educators at the national level. If actions occur, they are of an occasional nature. Therefore they turned to an Irish partner who has experience in carrying out development activities for educators. Additionally, an adult learning strategy has been implemented in Ireland for over 20 years. The rich experience of the Irish partner, a wide set of good practices available in Ireland, combined with the knowledge of other partners will allow the project to be achieved. It would not be possible without international cooperation. This is even more important in the current context where COVID-19 has forced educators to adapt very quickly, especially in countries where they do not necessarily have the pedagogical and technical skills to incorporate digital tools into adult education. In order to help counteract and solve the problems presented, the following activities were planned in the project, which will translate into results and effects:• The partners' experts will develop workshop scenarios, exercise kits, instructional videos for educators in the field of creativity education through theater, music, digital technologies and image. In addition, the results will include the development of a methodology for teaching adults and a standard of educational materials for educators and an implementation guide for educators along with educational recommendations.• In the first phase, experts will select a catalog of topics in which creativity can support non-formal education and strengthen the competences of recipients.• When developing the materials, experts will consult the detail of thematic areas with groups of adults, including those associating older people, such as U3A, libraries, community centers, thematic clubs or other places associating elderly people - so as to adjust the program to the competency gaps as much as possible. At the same time, they will closely observe the effects of the pandemic in terms of non-formal education of adults and their current problems.• In order to widely disseminate the results of intellectual work resulting from the project, it was planned to organize an international conference in Poland, Bulgaria and Ireland, devoted to the topic of developing creativity among adults through innovative methods of educating and training educators.• There will be prepared 5-day workshops in Poland entitled ""Creativity as a way of developing and acquiring new competences in adults"" in the Blended mobilty formula, which will consolidate and test the tools developed within the project. In order to test the adequacy, usability and effectiveness of the prepared materials, Lider will conduct full training on their basis. A total of 60 adult educators will take part in the training. The group will be fairly homogeneous so that it is possible to test the complete training materials. The selection of training participants will be made only on the merits. The participants' motivation and willingness to get involved in the project will also be verified. The training group will be accompanied by experts who have prepared materials in order to collect all comments on an ongoing basis."
